Before Bringing Your Kitten Home

These are our preferred brands, but only due to availability. Your kitten will come home with a weeks worth of food, so that you can transition them over to your preferred brand. Be sure to only provide grain free foods, we also recommend sticking to poultry and/or rabbit. Your kitten should be given canned food twice a day and should always have access to kibble.

Most Bengals enjoy raw meals, but it is not necessary for higher generation cats. Low Gen cats, F1, F2, and some F3s, require daily raw meals along with access to kibble. Commercial Raw products are convenient and  guarantee your cat is getting a complete balanced diet. Human grade raw chicken and ground turkey is another option, but organ meat is required, along with supplements. 

Every Bengal owner needs a cat tree or four! Bengals love to be as high up as possible. Trees give your cat a safe place to climb high, stretch out & release those claws! Our cats have never scratched furniture or anything inappropriate.

We use Scoop Away clumping litter. Using the same brand is suggested for the first few weeks in a new home.

The bigger the litter box the better. I use  storage totes with a hole cut into the lid.  This also helps keep dogs out!

Catit Super Roller Circuit is a winner with all Bengals! Keeps them entertained for hours.

Bengals love to play in water! Which always leads to dirty drinking water. Water fountains filter the water & keeps it clean while allowing them to play in the stream.
